Is AI worthwhile?

Lots of craze about AI in education, and even PE over the last many months.... But I have been extremely cautious for many reasons.

AI gives me rubbish when it comes to anything ecological dynamics, constraints-led approach, nonlinear pedagogy and those alike. Too little stuff out there for AI to "make sense" of, ended up vomiting out the usual traditional information-processing stuffs... So, please don't use AI if you want to read up on ecological dynamics and the more contemporary stuffs. Read proper text from credible authors instead.

A huge word of caution. Whatever is written below is from AI and they are totally inaccurate. Here are just some examples...

"Task simplification involves breaking down complex skills into easier components. This method allows learners to focus on fundamental aspects, reducing cognitive overload. While beneficial, it may limit the development of adaptive skills needed for real-world applications."

"Both task simplification and task deconstruction play vital roles in motor learning. While simplification aids initial learning, deconstruction fosters deeper understanding and adaptability. Balancing these approaches can lead to more effective training outcomes in various settings."

Final note, do use AI with caution.
